SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past

(24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been scattered in Naypyitaw and Magway

Region, Kayah State, fairly widespread in Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Chin

State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally

heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and Kachin State and isolated heavyfalls in

Lower Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine and Kayin States. The

noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (4.13) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit,

(3.80) inches in Singaing(Agro), (3.79) inches in Bhamo, (3.31) inches in

Shwegu, (3.19) inches in Kyauktaw, (3.04) inches in Hinthada, (2.80) inches

in Ngathaichaung, (2.59) inches in Katha, (2.56) inches in Kyaukse, (2.52)

inches in Maungdaw, (2.40) inches in Chaungsone, (2.28) inches each in

Chaung Oo and Shwe Daung, (2.12) inches in Shwegwin, (1.93) inches each

in Patheingyi(Agro) and Kyeikkhame and (1.85) inches in Mawlamyine.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay

of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rdJuly, 2020: Rain or

thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region, fairly widespread

in Naypyitaw and Lower Sagaing Region, Kayah State and widespread

in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls

in Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Kayin and Mon States.

Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times

Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along  Mon- Taninthayi Coasts. Surface

wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be slight to moderate

elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7 - 10) feet in

Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon- Taninthayi Coasts and about

(4 - 7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in

Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
