SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Southern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw and Bago Region, Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Rakhine and Kayin States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (4.41) inches in Sittwe, (3.67) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit, (2.48) inches in Shwekyin, (2.24) inches in Gwa, (2.05) inches in Putao, (2.01) inches in Maungdaw, (1.97) inches in Hainggyigyun, (1.46) inches in Kyeikmayaw, (1.26) inches in Pathein, (1.06) inches in Kungyangon and (1.02) inches in Madauk.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th June, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayah State, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions,  Southern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 - 8)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
