BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the West Central Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and now lies over the West Central Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal, North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha coasts(India). Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th June, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayin State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region, Shan, Kayah and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30 - 35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-10) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and about (5-8) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon- Taninthayi Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate Monsoon.
