BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and  Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 07th September, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kayah State, scattered in Mandalay Region and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Eastern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in  Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Bago ,Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 –13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:  Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
