SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State and isolated in Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above April normal temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi  Regions, Kachin,  Shan, Chin,  Kayah  and Mon States, (2°C) above April normal temperature in Kayin State and about April normal temperature in Rakhine State. The significant day temperatures were (46°C) in Chauk, (44°C) each in Nyaung Oo and Gangaw and (43°C) each in Monywa, Myinmu, Mandalay, Myingyan, Kyaukse, Magway, Pauk, Taunggu and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Kawthaung (0.67)inch, Muse and Homalin (0.46) inch each and Putao and Tamu (0.08)inch each.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (11:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm "FANI" over the Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about (310) miles East-Northeast of Trincomalee (Sri-Lanka), (430)miles Southeast of Chennai (India) and (520)miles Southeast of Machilipatnam. It is forecast to move Northwestwards. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North and East central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th April, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Yangon Regions, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of rain or thundershowers in Lower Myanmar areas.
