SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay Region and (Southern and Eastern) Shan State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayin and Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) to (6°C) above April normal temperatures in Upper Sagaing and Bago Regions,  Kachin, Kayah and Mon States and (3°C) to (4°C) above April normal temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Chin and Kayin States and about April normal temperature in Rakhine State. The significant day temperatures were (46°C) in Chauk, (44°C)each in Aunglan, Taungdwingyi and Taunggu and (43°C) each in Monywa, Myinmu, Nyaung Oo, Minbu, Magway, Gangaw, Sinbuygyun and Gyobingauk. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Kentung (0.04)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal has intensified into a depression and it is centered about (620)miles East- Southeast of Trincomalee(Siri Lanka), (840)miles Southeast of Chennai(India) and (820)miles South-Southeast of Machilipatnam. It is forecast to move Northwest wards. Weather is cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th April, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Kayin and Mon States.
