BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd August, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Magway Region and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing,Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine,Kayin States.Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
