SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Yangon Region, fairly widespread in Kachin, Kayah States, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Taninythayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (2.56) inches in Shwegu, (2.12) inches each in Mogoke and Kungyangon, (2.05) inches in Katha, (1.97) inches in Hlegu,(1.61) inches in Monyin, (1.26) inches in Kanbalu, (1.03) inches in Yangon(Mayangon) and (1.00) inches in PaingKyone.

BAY INFERENCE Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 31stJuly, 2022:Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread inUpper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northen Shan States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Chin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
