PART ONE          : According to the observations at (09:30) hrs M.S.T today, the deep depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwestwards and intensified into a Cyclonic Storm “MICHAUNG”. It is centered at about within half degree of Lat (11.6)°N and Long (82.3)°E.

PART TWO         : Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 10.5°N – 16.5°N AND LONG. 92°E

WEATHER                      : Isolated light rain or thundershowers.

VISIBILITY                       : (4) nautical miles but (1) nautical mile in rain.

SURFACE WIND               : East or Northeast (10 - 15) kts at times (25 - 30)kts.

SEAS                             : Moderate to rough.

WAVE HEIGHT                 : (6-9)ft.
