COMPOUND :

PART ONE : According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Malacca Strait moved Westwards and now lies over South Andaman sea. It may further intensify into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area on (29.11.2023) and likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a Depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal on (30.11.2023). Thereafter, it is likely to move Northwestwards and may further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm on (2.12.2023).

PART TWO : Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 10.5°N – 16.5°N AND LONG. 92°E

WEATHER : Scattered rain or thundershowers.

VISIBILITY : (4) nautical miles but (1) nautical mile in rain.

SURFACE WIND : East or Northeast (5 - 10) kts at times (25-30)kts.

SEAS : Moderate to rough.

WAVE HEIGHT : (6-9)ft.
