PART ONE          : According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked low pressure area over North Andaman Sea (Gulf of Martaban) has intensified into a Depression. It is centered at about within half degree of 16.2 N and 97.3 E.

PART TWO         : Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 10.5°N – 16.5°N AND LONG. 92°E

WEATHER                      : Widespread rain or thundershowers with likelihood of Regionally heavyfalls.  

VISIBILITY                       : (3) nautical miles but (1/2) nautical mile in rain. 

SURFACE WIND               : West or Southwest (10-15) kts at times (40)kts.

SEAS                             : Rough to very rough.
