BAY BULLETIN

ISSUED ON : 05 - 12 - 2021 AT: 13:00 hrs M.S.T

COMPOUND :

PART ONE : According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over the West Central Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northeast wards and reached over Northwest and adjoining West Central Bay of Bengal and it is centered at about within half degree of Lat (18.8)°N and Long (85.7)°E. It is forecast to move North- Northeast wards and downgrade into a depression during next (6) hours. After that it may reach along Odisha coast and near Puri during next (9)hrs. It is continuous to move North-Northeast wards and weaken into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area and reach along Odisha coast towards West Bengal coast, India around (6.12.2021).

PART TWO : Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 10.5°N – 16.5°N AND LONG. 92°E

WEATHER : Partly cloudy.

VISIBILITY : (5) nautical miles.

SURFACE WIND : East or Northeast (10- 15) kts at times (25-30)kts.

SEAS : Moderate to rough.

WAVE HEIGHT : (7-9) ft.

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 16.5°N – 20.5°N AND LONG. 92°E

WEATHER : Isolated rain or thundershowers.

VISIBILITY : (4) nautical miles but (1) nautical mile in rain.

SURFACE WIND : South or Southeast (10- 15) kts at times (25-30)kts.

SEAS : Moderate to rough.
