BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 2ndJuly, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon- Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7 - 9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon- Taninthayi Coasts and about (4 - 7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate to strong monsoon.
