Squalls are the precursors to a storm, or rather separate clouds that form in a series, and as the cloud base gradually descends, strong winds blow at a height of 1,000 to 1,500 feet from the ground, causing precipitation.
26-7-2026 According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoing West Bengal Coasts –still persists. It is likely to become more marked during next 2 days. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
