BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and a few cloud over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 8th October 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be fairy widespread in Taninthayi  Region, scattered in  Yangon,  Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Mon, Southern Shan State and  isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%. 

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
