BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea, South Bay, Westcentral Bay and Northwest Bay of Bengal.  Weather is partly cloudy  over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th October 2026: Weather will be partly cloudy in the Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State. Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in (Southern and Eastern) Shan State, scattered in Mandalay, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and  isolated in the  the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region. Degree of certainty is 80%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena. 

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of thundery activities in Southern Myanmar area.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 6th October 2026:                             Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 80%.

FORECAST FOR YANGON AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 6th October 2026:  Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 60%.

FORECAST FOR MANDALAY AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 6th October 2026:             Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 80%.
