A moderate earthquake of magnitude 5.0 (M) with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (23) miles east-northeast of Mrauk-U), latitude 20.67°N, longitude 93.53°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (56) miles northeast of Sittwe seismological observatory was recorded at (00) hr (42) min (47) sec M.S.T on 4^thOctober, 2026.
