BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area which crossed Chin State, Myanmar and adjoining Southeast Bangladesh and Mizoram, India and moved North-Northwestwards and weakened into a Low Pressure Area over the Southeast Bangladesh and adjoining Mizoram, India. It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.  Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 1st October 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%. 

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Northern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena. 

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of thundary activities in Deltaic Myanmar area.
