BAY INFERENCE:  Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather will be a few cloud over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 2nd September 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kayah State, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kachin, State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%. 

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Magway, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena. 

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate monsoon.
