6-9-2026: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the 17:30 hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Thaungyin River at Myawady has exceeded by about 1 inch above its danger level. It may rise about 1 foot 6 inches during the next 1 day and may remain above its danger level.

It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Myawady Township to take precaution measure.
