It is likely to move Northwestwards and across West Bengal and adjoining areas of North Odisha and Jharkhand, India during next 24 hours. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal . Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

According to the 08:30 hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Shwegyin River at Shwegyin has exceeded by about 2 inches above its danger level. It may rise about 3 feetduring the next 1 day and may remain above its danger level.
It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Shwegyin Township, to take precaution measure.
