26-7-2026 According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoing West Bengal Coasts –still persists. It is likely to become more marked during next 2 days. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the 06:30 hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Sittaung River at Madauk has exceeded by about ½ foot above its danger level. It may fall below its danger level during the next 1 day.
It is noticeably advised to stay to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Madauk.
