SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Chin, Eastern Shan States, scattered in Mandalay, Upper Sagaing Regions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Rakhine, Southern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Kachin, Kayin States and isolated heavyfalls in Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 5.98 inches in Chaungsone, 4.06 inches each in Hainggyigyun and Mawlamyinegyun, 3.66 inches in Hpa-an(Agro-Met), 3.62 inches each in Dawei and Hpa-an, 3.54 inches each in Chauk and Putao, 3.38 inches in Kyeikkhame, 3.32 inches in Kyeikmayaw, 3.07 inches in Myitkyina and 2.80 inches in Mudon. 

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11stJune 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin, Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Shan States.
