General Long Range Water Level Forecast For Winter Season(2017-2018)

The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to fall about (6-8) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu and Katha, about (9-10) feet at Thabeikkyin, Mandalay, Sagaing and Myinmu, about (11-13) feet at Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu, Magway and Aunglan, and about (14-15) feet at Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to fall about (8-10) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin and about (12-14) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
