SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain have been isolated in Kachin, Eastern Shan and Kayah States. Weather has beenpartly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Rakhine, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.Night temperatures were (2°C) above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Kachin, Kayah States and (3°C) to (4°C) above January average temperatures in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and about January average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (3°C) in Heho, (4°C) each in Kyaukmae and Pyinoolwin and (5°C) each in Namsam, Tiddim and Mogoke.The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.08) inch in Loikaw and (0.04) inch in Kengtung. 

BAY INFERENCE:Weather is cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhereover the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 02ndJanuary, 2022:Light rain are likely to be isolated in TaninthayiRegion and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan States.
