SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Eastern Shan, Kayin States. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin, (Northern and Southern Shan) States, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Yangon  Regions and Chin, Kayah States, scattered  in Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and isolated in the remaining Regions and States.Day temperatures were (3°C) above May average temperature in Kachin State and (2°C) above May average temperatures in Lower SagaingRegion and Rakhine State and  about May average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C) in Chauk and (41°C) each in Myinmu, Nyaung Oo, Aunglan, Gangaw andSinbyugyun. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.34) inches in Pinlaung, (1.10) inches in Mogoke, (0.98) inch in Kyaukmae, (0.90) inch in Pathein, (0.82) inch in Bhamo, (0.79) inch in Hmawbi, (0.75) inch in Naungchoand (0.71) inch in Yangon (Northern Dagon).

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th May, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagiang Region and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Chin States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, KayahStates and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of continuations of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States.
