SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy to cloudy in Naypyitaw and Eastern Shan State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Northern Shan and Kayah States, scattered in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Yangon Region and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and Mon State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Yay (4.14)inches, Mahlaing (Agro) (2.20)inches, Kyeikdon (2.16)inches, Myaungmya (2.09)inches, Mogaung (2.05)inches, Manaung (1.89)inches, Putao and Ann (1.81)inches each, Namsam (1.65)inches and Kyeikmayaw and Myeik (1.57)inches each.

 BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th September, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, (Northern and Eastern) Shan and Kayah States, scattered in Rakhine State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Southern Shan and Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6–9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about ( 4–6) feet off and along Rakhine Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region.
