BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and  strong over the  Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 10th July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region  and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfall in Kachin and Rakhine States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago and Yangon Regions, Chin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:   Squalls with moderate  to rough  seas are likely at times off and along Gulff of Motatta,Deltaic and Rakhine  Coasts and moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8 -10)feet off and along Gulff of Motatta,Deltaic and Rakhine  Coasts andWave height will be about (6 -8)feet off and along Mon-Tanintayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Rakhine States.
