SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past

(24) hours,rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay and

Magway Regions,(Northern and Eastern)Shan and Chin States, fairly widespread in

Rakhine State, scattered inKachin State, isolated in Yangon and Ayeyarwady

Regions, Southern Shan State and weatherhas been partly cloudy in the

remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (7°C)above December

average temperature in (Eastern and Southern)Shan, Kayah States, (5°C)to (6°C)

above December average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region, Northern Shan,

Chin,and Rakhine States, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures

in Upper Sagaing,Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, Kayin and Mon States,

(2°C) above Decemberaverage temperature in Lower Sagaing Region and about

December average temperaturesin the remaining Regions and States. The significant

night temperatures were (8°C) in Putao and (10°C) in Hakha. The noteworthy

amount of rainfall recorded were Falam (1.18)inches,Mogoke (1.11)inches,

Thabeikkyin (1.06)inches, Hakha and Kanbalu (0.91)inch each, Ye U(0.83)inch

and Tiddim and Myaungmya (0.79)inch each.

 

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today,

the low pressurearea over the West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh Coasts

still persists. Weather is generally fair over the West Central Bay and partly

cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.

 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th DECEMBER, 2017: Rain

or thundershowerswill be fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway

Regions, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States, scattered in Napyitaw, Ayeyarwady

Region and Kachin State,isolated in Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions.

Degree of certainly is (80%).Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions

and States.

 

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters.

Wave height will be about (5 - 7)feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

 

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of

likelihood ofrain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin,  

Shan and Chin States.
