BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th September, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in  Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kachin State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw,  Northern  Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States and widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, (Eastern and Southern)Shan, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavy falls in Lower Sagaing,Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Mon State. Degree of certainly is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-11)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (4-8)feet in along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of thundery activities in Central Myanmar areas.
