SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above December average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan State, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (5°C) in Putao, (6°C) in Tiddim and (7°C) each in Mongyang and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd December 2023: Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Shan and Kayah States.
