BAY INFERENCE :  According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm “MICHAUNG” over Westcentral Bay and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal off South Andhra Pradesh and adjoining North Tamil Nadu coasts has moved North-Northwestwards now lies over Westcentral Bay of Bengal off South Andhra Pradesh and adjoining North Tamil Nadu coasts. It is centered at about (765) Nautical miles West of Coco Island, (825) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar), (90) Nautical miles North of Chennai, (15) Nautical miles East-Northeast of Nellore, (80) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Bapatla and (110) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Machilipatnam (India). Weather is partly  cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and the Southwest Bay of Bengal and cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 05th December 2023:  Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Kayin, Mon States. Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in (Southern and Eastern) Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Chin State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
