BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 28th October 2023: Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State. Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Mon State, fairly widespread in Southern Shan, Kayah States, scattered in Taninthayi Region and Eastern Shan, Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in  Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon Regions and Mon State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as thunder accompanied with rain, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 28th October 2023:            One or two rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (100%).
