SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, fairly widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan, Rakhine States, isolated in Mandalay, Yangon Regions and Northern Shan, Kayin States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (1.45) inches in Yangon(Botahtaung), (1.30) inches in Coco-Island, (1.17) inches in Hkamti, (0.74) inch each in Putao and Machanbaw, (0.62) inch in Myeik, (0.43)inch in Kawkareik and (0.35)inch in Monyin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th October 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States, isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon Regions and Eastern Shan, Chin States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
