BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm “HAMOON” which has reached the inland of Bangladesh moved Northeastwards and weakened into a Land Depression over Mizoram, India. It is forecast continue to move Northeastwards and expected to weaken gradually. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th October 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Southern Shan, Kayah States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Saganig, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Kachin, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate off and along Rakhine Coast. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet off and along Rakhine Coast and (4-6) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast.
