BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Tropical Storm “Sanba” over the South China Sea is likely forecast to move Northwards and may reach Tokin Bay.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 19^th October 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region, isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather has been partly cloudy the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 19^th October 2023:            Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (60%).
