BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North and Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Tropical Depression over the South China Sea is likely forecast to move slowly Northwestwards.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 18th October 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan State, scattered in Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (100%). Weather has been partly cloudy the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
