BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal  and  partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL  EVENING  OF THE 17th October 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Bago Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan State. isolated in Mandalay Region and Northren Shan, Rakhine States.  Degree of certainty is (100%). Weather has been partly cloudy the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
