BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Northeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. Monsoon trough is passing through the Deltaic and Gulf of Mottama areas of Myanmar.
SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Tropical Storm “Koinu” over the South China Sea has moved West-Southwestwards and downgrade into a tropical depression. It is likely continue to move West-Southwestwards and weaken into a Low Pressure Area.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 10th October 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Chin, Rakhine States, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Mon State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of thundery activities in Deltaic areas.
