BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Northeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. Monsoon trough is passing through the Deltaic and Gulf of Mottama areas of Myanmar.

SPECIAL FEACTURES:  According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Tropical Storm “Koinu” over the South China Sea and is likely continue to move slowly West-Southwestwards and downgrade into a Tropical Depression.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 10th October 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Magway Regions and Rakhine State, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and Kachin, Northern Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan, Kayin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of thundery activities in Deltaic areas.
