BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th August, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region and Kayah State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions, fairly widespread in Bago Region and (Northern and Southern) Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
