BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th August, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions, scattered in Magway Region and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
