BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate  over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and  strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal . 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 21st June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing  Region and  Chin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in  Rakhine State and likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions  and  Mon State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in the Upper Sagaing  Region and Kachin, Shan,  Rakhine, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.  

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas  are likely at times  in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast.  Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be moderate  elsewhere in  Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and (6-8) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 21stJune, 2023:  Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (100%).

FORECAST FOR YANGON AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 21st June, 2023:    One or two rain orthundershowers. Degree of certainty is (100%).
FORECAST FOR MANDALAY AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 21st June, 2023: Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (80%).
