BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal .
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 21st June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing ,Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Ayeyarwady Region and likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Region and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in the Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing , Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Tanitharyi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States.
