BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 17th June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kayah State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Shan State, fairly widespread in Rakhine State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in the Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate to strong monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
