SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Mon State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (5.63) inches in Manaung, (5.28) inches in Thandwe, (5.11) inches in Ra The Daung, (4.72) inches in Launglon, (4.41) inches in Hlegu, (4.37) inches each in Yangon(Manyangone) and Dawei, (3.74) inches in Khayan, (3.19) inches in Hkamti, (3.11) inches in Hmawbi (Agro-Met), (3.08) inches in Ye and (3.03) inches in Ann. 

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.  

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Northern Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate monsoon.
