BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and North Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 21st May, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Mon States, scattered in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

The Condition of Cumulonimbus Cloud: The Cumulonimbus clouds are starting over the Lower Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of thundery activities in Southern Myanmar areas.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 21st May, 2023:      Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (60%).

FORECAST FOR YANGON AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 21st May, 2023:           Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (80%).

FORECAST FOR MANDALAY AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 21st May, 2023:      Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (60%).
