BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 20th May, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Regionsand Chin, Kayin, Mon States, isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Southern) Shan, Rakhine States and weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Kayin, Mon States.
