BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area may form over the Southeast Bay of Bengal around (8.5.2023). It is likely to intensify into a Depression around (9.5.2023) then continue to move Northwards and intensify into a Cyclonic Storm over the Central Bay of Bengal around (10.5.2023). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 07th May, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rahkine,Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

The Condition of Cumulonimbus Cloud: The Cumulonimbus clouds start to develop over the Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
