SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Rakhine States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) above May average temperature in Bago Region, (3°C) to (4°C) above May average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States, (2°C) above May average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan, Rakhine States and about normal average temperatures in Chin State. The significant day temperatures were (45°C) in Chauk and (43°C) each in Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Pyay and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.23) inch in Muse and (0.04) inch in Bhamo, Myauk U and Launglon.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 07th May, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rahkine States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
